We provide and advocate for improved access to safe, secure and affordable housing for low income Australians, particularly women and their children.
Safe, secure and affordable housing is fundamental to women’s social, economic and educational participation, and the realisation of gender equality and women’s human rights.
Your donation will help us in our work providing important housing and homelessness programs and services to women and girls, their families and communities.
We also accept in-kind donations of new and unopened goods for our tenants and housing applicants. This may include donations such as sanitary products, toiletries, bedding and manchester, kitchenware, and more.

Volunteer
Volunteering with YWCA National Housing is a great way of making a real difference for disadvantaged women in your community. We offer you the opportunity to participate in a range of roles that will best suit your interests, skills and experience.
Volunteering might include hands-on property makeovers (e.g. property maintenance, establishing community gardens), or it could involve volunteering of professional skills including data analysis, policy and research.
We can also tailor corporate sponsorship and volunteer programs for corporates who might want to put a team of volunteers together for a full day of volunteering. Please contact us if this is of interest.
